Rent Redmond Gives New Tools to Renters, Landlords, and Managers
January 26, 2004
BEND, Oregon - Central Oregon residents have a new online resource for finding rental housing. Rent Redmond opened it's virtual doors today marking the newest business offering local services via the Internet.
"It just makes sense," says Andrea Tiemeyer, Regional Manager for Pennbrook Management & Leasing. "Having a central database of rental properties attracts more consumers, and that's good for my business."
Visitors to the site can choose from basic or advanced search criteria to quickly narrow the database of rental properties. Photos, maps, and property details are offered on individual property pages as well as a link to print your own flyer.
Destiny Gauthier, one of a growing number of young twenty-something professionals in Bend says, "I used to become so frustrated trying to find a place. By the time I made it through the newspaper classifieds and phoned most of the property management companies, my information was out-of-date and I had to start all over again. It was really a nightmare."
Rent Redmond already has more features on the horizon. Soon they will add vacation rentals to their databases of searchable listings. They are also working on a notification system that will instantly let potential renters know when a property fitting their criteria comes online.
Rent Redmond has their eye on changing the way we search for apartments, homes, and weekend rentals. If inital consumer reaction is any measure, they may have already acheived that goal.
